- 2 cups chickpeas (uncooked)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion chopped
- Ginger 1″ sliiced
- Green chillies 4-5
- Sat
- Amchur (raw mango powder)- about 1 tsp
- Cilantro
Method
- Soak chickpeas overnight
- Pressure cook chickpeas with salt. 15 mins after 1st whistle
- Heat oil
- Add onion and ginger, and fry slightly (light brown)
- Throw in the chickpeas, add salt and Amchur
- Let it cook. Mash some of the chickpeas so the consistency is thick
- Garnish with sliced round onions, tomatoes, plenty of ciltraro and wedge of lime
