Moong dal with caulifour

For 4-6 people

Moong dal 1 cup

Cauliflower 1.5 cups

Peas 4 tbsp

Cumin seeds 1 tspn

Whole dry red chillies 3 pcs

Bay leaves 2 pieces

Aestofida/Hing 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Ginger grated/mice/paste 1 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp

Salt

Ghee/Olive oil

  • Lightly roast moong dal
  • Boil Moong dal with turmeric and salt. Cook until it is done. Keep removing froth. Use a saucepan
  • Separately in a wok, heat oil/ghee. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, red chillies. Add aestofida. Add the vegetables and ginger. Add green chilli, salt and turmeric. Cook it nicely until almost done
  • Mix the dal, add sugar and boil for 3-5 minutes
  • Garnish with slit green chillies and you are done
