- 1 small onion (1/2 cup)
- 1.5 tomatoes chopped (3/4 cup)
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 two garlic paste
- 3 green chilies
- 3 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 250g paneer cubes cubes
- 1 cup peas
- Blend onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, chillies
- Heat oil in pressure cooker ( black)
- add bay leaf, clove
- add blended paste
- fry until brown
- add dry spices
- fry until oil leaves the side of the masala
- Add paneer cubes
- saute slightly. Add peas
- add water..just a bit more than to cover the paneer
- Add salt
- Pressure cook for 9 mins after first whistle
- Garnish with cilantro
