- 1/2 cup moong dal
- 1/2 cup rice
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- pinch aestofida
- 1.5 tsp crushed ginger
- 2 tbsp peas
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt
- 2 green chillies
- 3.5 cups water
- Soak rice and dal together in water
- Heat ghee in a saucepan or pressure cooker
- add cumin seeds and gunger
- add turmeric and aestofida
- add the rice and dal
- Add salt and peas and green chillies
- add water
- Pressure cook for 10 mins
