1 kg chicken (small pieces thighs)
1 tsp red chilli powder
3 tbsp ginger paste
Lime juice (optional)
1 green pepper
Green chilli (optional)
2-3 tbsp yoghurt beaten with water
2 onions: chopped fine
Oil
- Fry onion in oil until brown. Add ginger paste
- Add chicken until color changes
- Add black pepper, red chilli and salt
- Add thinned yoghurt and mix well
- Cover until the chicken is tender
- Optional: Stir fry red pepper, green chilli, 1 small onion quartered separately for 5 mins. Add to the chicken
- Add a dash of lime before serving
