500g chicken (with bone)
3 cups water
1 chopped onion
3 cloves
2 chicken bullion cubes
1 egg beaten
Soya sauce
Corn flour
1 can sweet corn
1 finely sliced green chilli
- Take out the chicken skin
- Boil the chicken in the water- and add onion, cloves, stock cubes in it
- When the chicken is cooked, remove the chicken pieces and shred them.
- Now boil the soup, add 1 tbsp corn flour (mixed in cold water earlier) to thicken it
- Add the soya sauce
- Now throw in the can of sweet corn and allow it to boil nicely until it is soft
- Add the chilli. Taste to adjust soya sauce (add a bit of lemon if you want)
- When the soup is boiling, gently add the beaten egg but keep moving the soup with a fork so the egg does not coagulate in one place
- Put the shredded chicken back into the soup and you are ready
