Indi’s peas

Ingredients:

½ kg                     frozen peas

1                          green chilli, chopped coarse

¼ cup                    fresh coconut, grated

¼ cup                    coriander leaves

5 or 6                   whole black pepper

1 tbsp                   black masala pdr

To taste               salt

Tempering:

½ tsp                    mustard seeds

¼ tsp                    asafetida pdr

Method:

Grind coconut, pepper, corriander leaves to a paste

Fry tempering (mustard seeds plus Heena).

Add peas and green chillis and allow water to dry.

Add paste. When peas are cooked add salt and goda masala
